Lansika is designed around a strict zero-retention privacy model. Here is exactly how your photos and data are handled during your skin analysis sessions.
Client-Side Analysis
Facial landmark detection and skin metric extraction run directly inside your browser engine via WebAssembly & WebGL.
Zero Cloud Storage
We do not upload or store face photos on remote cloud servers or third-party storage buckets.
Session Lifetime Only
Analysis results exist strictly in browser session memory. Refreshing or closing your tab discards all snapshot data.
Detailed Data Processing Terms
1. Image Data Handling
When you grant camera access or upload an image, the image frame is drawn onto an HTML5 Canvas element within your client browser. MediaPipe FaceLandmarker computes 478 3D facial coordinate landmarks to delineate facial regions (forehead, cheek, nose, chin). Pixel color channel ratios (RGB erythema indices, variance) are calculated strictly in memory.
2. No Personal Identifier Collection
Lansika MVP does not collect your name, email address, phone number, IP address, or device biometric template. No registration or user account is required to perform skin scans.
